Having led talent management and solutions over 20+ years of global talent leadership roles across multiple industries, Gavin brings a unique, culturally informed and pragmatic perspective to his client partnerships. As the President of Werq, an executive and team performance coaching firm, he oversees effective partnerships with c-suite and senior executives across healthcare, technology and marketing services sectors, from start-up to large established organizations, to raise the bar on their personal and team effectiveness.
Prior to Werq, Gavin was CHRO at Synovate, a London based global market research business and Harte Hanks Inc. Earlier in his career he led the HR function for Pentland Brands PLC in London and Hong Kong after successfully completing quality and sales roles in his native South Africa. Gavin earned his MBA from Heriot Watt University and completed programs at Ashridge University (Leading Strategy & Change), Cranfield University (Advanced Project Management), and certification with the International Coach Federation. Currently, he volunteers on the Board of VolunteerSquare.com.
