This 1-hour training is an interactive discussion about the prevalence and dynamics of intimate partner violence, impact on children and the best practices in effective screening and intervention. In addition, this training will also provide screening tools and resources to strengthen interventions and support for victims and survivors.

This training is tailored to providers of direct service, parents, and the general public.

About The Center for Family Justice:
The Center for Family Justice (CFJ) provides free and confidential trauma-informed services and coordinates care for all victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse in six towns in Fairfield County, Connecticut: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull.

CFJ provides expert prevention education and training in our communities to create social change. CFJ's goal is to break the cycle of violence by building healthy relationships, empowering communities, and mobilizing bystanders to speak out about abuse and violence.
