When you successfully complete the William D. Clarke, Sr. Diplomatic Security Fellowship and the Foreign Service entry requirements, you’ll receive an appointment as a Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Special Agent in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. This will be the start of an exciting career traveling the world, leading and managing U.S. diplomatic mission security programs, conducting criminal investigations, leading security training and training assistance programs, and more.
Join us for an engaging panel discussion with four DSS Special Agents who will share their experiences and answer questions about their role. This is a great opportunity for you to hear what it’s really like working in the Foreign Service as a DSS Special Agent, how they launched their careers, what their most memorable experiences have been, what a typical day is in the life of a DSS Special Agent, and much more.
