Paper to Digital Workflow in Animation

With over 30 years in the animation industry, Tony Bancroft has been creatively involved in almost every position making an animated film, video, commercial, or short film. During his 12-year career with Disney Studios, Bancroft helped create and animate Pumbaa, the lovable warthog in The Lion King; Kronk, the dim-witted sidekick in The Emperor’s New Groove; Cogsworth the nervous clock from Beauty and the Beast; and Iago the pestering parrot in Aladdin. He was the animation supervisor of Sony’s Stuart Little 2, for which he received the Visual Effects Society’s top award for character animation. Currently Tony prepares and enriches the next generation of animators and storytellers as the Program Director for Lipscomb University’s Animation degree program.

Kyle is a passionate creative artist with over a decade of experience in industrial design and content marketing. With his degree from Carleton University, he began his career as an intern at Autodesk before moving onto Content Marketing roles with SketchBook and the Digital Arts portfolio. When Kyle wasn't refining his content marketing skills, he was exploring a passion in woodworking—refinishing and flipping furniture in his basement workshop. His unique blend of creative talent is what brought him to Wacom in 2021, where he now serves as a Product Marketing Manager specializing in Media & Entertainment.

Bryan is a Product Marketing Manager for Wacom, with a focus on launching Wacom’s newest products in the Americas region. He started his career as a Registered Nurse, before moving to roles in product management within the image guided neurosurgery field. Balancing out his creative side, he has an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design with coursework in animation, design, computer science, and story development and has worked as a freelance Storyboard Artist and Character Designer.
