Panelist: Shannon Dunckel
Wedding Planner and Venue Owner, Five Star Ranch, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Shannon and her husband started managing and operating their horse ranch as a wedding venue by complete accident; they hosted a huge party in their barn and the rest is history. Ten years and more than 60 special events later, little did they know they would become professionals with a passion for planning parties. With her husband’s crafty woodworking skills and her attention to detail, proactive planning, and their “Rustic Chic” venue, Five Star Ranch and the Idaho Silo, they are able to provide their couple’s and their guests a start to their marriage with the power of everything loving and positive.

They often say, ”We host weddings and events because we get to, not because we have to.” In all reality, they feel blessed to be a small part of the beginning of someone else’s future and the least they can do is start them off with memories to last a lifetime.
