PFAS has become an important topic for people, government, and industry over the last few years. We know that PFAS chemicals do not break down easily in the environment and can contaminate drinking water and move through soils. Many call PFAS the environmental crisis of this generation.

Carol Walczyk
Vice President, Water Quality & Compliance, Veolia North America
As the Vice President, Water Quality & Compliance of the investor-owned Utility division of Veolia's Municipal Water group, Carol oversees water quality optimization and regulatory compliance for over 100 drinking water and wastewater systems in six states in the US. She has 33 years of experience in the environmental services industry, including 28 years as a civil/environmental consulting engineer prior to joining Veolia. Carol has a Civil Engineering B.S. from the Cooper Union, is a registered Professional Engineer and a certified Project Management Professional, and is an incoming member of the American Water Works Association Board of Directors.

Chris Moody
Regulatory Technical Manager, American Water Works Association
Chris Moody is the regulatory technical manager for the American Water Works Association (AWWA) in their government affairs office. In his current position, he helps to manage a portfolio of water issues relating to PFAS, microbial and disinfection byproducts, lead, and cybersecurity. Prior to his work with AWWA, Chris worked as an environmental engineering consultant on a variety of water infrastructure and waste management projects.

Chip Cagle
Director of Project Development, Facility and Buildings Services, Veolia North America
As the Director of Project Development with Veolia’s Industrial Water Group, Chip is responsible for developing solutions for clients' water, energy and utility needs through guaranteed operations and maintenance services of either new or existing client assets across the US. He has over 30 years of experience in industrial water and energy and has been with Veolia for 13 years. Chip has a B.S. In Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Jamie Harrison
General Manager, Environmental Solutions and Services, Veolia North America
As the Ohio Valley Branch General Manager for Veolia’s Environmental Solutions and Services group, James is responsible for developing safe, comprehensive and sustainable solutions for clients' hazardous and nonhazardous wastes management needs. He has been with Veolia since 2008 and has over 30 years of experience in the environmental services industry in varying roles including management of the Veolia incinerator located in Port Arthur, TX. James has a B.S. In Chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
