How to tackle the hidden problem of people being at work but not contributing: The link between employee energy and presenteeism.
At its core, Work Horizons is focused on the individual. If we have skilled, motivated and healthy people the results for them and their organisation can be astonishing.
We know these are, for some people, worrying times; a threat or perceived threat of redundancy, changing work patterns and money concerns are impacting wellbeing and
performance.
Work Horizons is helping people to think through the issues and their implications, to address worries and to adapt to change. The way we feel affects the way we think, and the way we think affects the way we act and behave.
The focus of this event will be on wellness and presenteeism, when people who should take a sick day off don't due to being afraid of how it will be perceived by employees and impact their work, and how this is a cost to businesses and impacts individuals.
This event is in partnership with Younger Lives. Younger Lives helps individuals, teams and entire organisations understand what's driving their energy, wellbeing and performance, and how this can be maintained and improved over time.
