Convergence Consultant Trainer
Dale and Carole enjoy living in their community in downtown Holland, Michigan. They have three sons: Carl, Joel, and Eric. They lived in Kenya from 1997-2007 serving the Orma people, a community of Muslim pastoralists. Because of Carl’s developmental disabilities, the schools could not serve him effectively at the secondary school level, so they resettled in the America. Dale is a team leader with Seed Company and translation consultant serving Anglophone Africa communities. He is mentoring a Ghanian translation facilitator, a Seed Company consultant-in-training (CiT), and a cohort of eight Convergence CiTs. Dale was a nuclear engineer for 18 years before they left their home and ministry in inner-city Detroit to begin SIL studies. Dale earned a BIE in industrial engineering, MS in nuclear engineering, MA in missionary anthropology, and DMin in Bible Translation.
