In November 2016, Mont and Shannon Weniger were in a severe high speed head on collision in Papua New Guinea where they were serving. Listen as they share how God protected them and worked through the entire situation to demonstrate his faithfulness and provision.
But Mont and Shannon haven’t just seen God’s faithfulness in trauma. They’ve also been strengthened by his care in the day-to-day details as they served as children’s home parents to dozens of missionary kids in Papua New Guinea.
Come be encouraged by their testimony of God’s goodness in their lives.

Associate Director for Management and Professional Recruitment
Mont and Shannon have always had a heart for missions and a desire for everyone to have access to the Bible in their heart language. They also were involved in youth ministry. They joined Wycliffe Bible translators in 2008, after learning of the need for Children's Home Parents. They served in Papua New Guinea from 2010-2019 as children's home parents, and Mont was also department manager from 2013-2019. Due to Covid-19 and some family health issues, Mont and Shannon decided to remain in the U.S. They've been with specialty recruitment since August 2021.
