When Jonathan and Jenny first arrived in Papua New Guinea as translation advisors to the Domung language group, they knew there were going to be difficulties but they were confident God would help them thrive in the midst of those challenges.
However as time went on, they realized God was challenging them that their definition of “thriving” was perhaps not the same as his. Instead, God was asking them to reframe their idea of “thriving; he was asking them to persevere, to remain steadfast and to endure.
Join Jonathan as he shares lessons of endurance on the mission field and how they can apply to our lives — wherever God might be calling us.
