Andy Sutton
Principal Network Architect, BT
Andy Sutton is a BT Fellow and the Principal Network Architect for 4G/5G mobile backhaul, satellite communications, and fixed radio links. Andy holds an MSc in Mobile Communications from the University of Salford and has over 35 years of industry experience. He is a Chartered Engineer with Professional Fellowships from the IET, ITP and BCS. Andy holds the posts of Visiting Professor of Telecommunications at the University of Liverpool and University of Salford. Andy current research interests include LEO satellite communications, 3GPP NTN and 4G/5G radio access network evolution.
