ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
For more than two decades, ASES has organized and delivered the largest grassroots solar event in the U.S., the National Solar Tour.
Join Carly Cipolla and Carly Rixham of the American Solar Energy Society, and Carra Cheslin of Solar United Neighbors, while we review the process for hosting a Local Solar Tour in your area!
A local solar tour is a series of solar open houses; tours may be guided or self-guided. A solar open house is an informal meet and greet to for community members who are interested in solar to visit a solar-powered home or business, talk with the solar owner about the process of going solar, and connect with other solar supporters in their community.
The National Solar Tour takes place in cities and towns across the country. The Tour opens doors to thousands of participants in locations nationwide. Many local tours are held in October during Energy Awareness Month. The official dates being October 5-6, but a tour can be held in any of the surrounding weekends!
