Presenters are:
- Georgia Rose from the EnviroShop, our first business to be able to keep their lights on when the grid goes down, with a solar array and battery pack. EnviroShop is a local retailer of and expert in many products that will help you reduce your energy, waste, water and exposure to harmful chemicals.
- Charles Sandford from Charles Sandford and McKay Joinery, a local wood manufacturer, making bespoke furniture, windows and door. Charlie put his first 32 kw solar system in 5 years ago and is now looking to expand it to a 100kw system in total. Charlie has also upgraded lights and machinery to reduce energy, he has significantly reduced waste, and at the same time grown his business substantially.
