How can you architect a real-time interactive broadcasting solution? Use cases such as e-sports, gambling, auctions, concerts, and more all call for technical architectures which combine the best of P2P WebRTC and broadcasting technologies in a single solution. Red5 Pro CEO Chris Allen will join us on this episode to discuss the evolution from P2P networks to SFUs to what he refers to as the XDN - Experience Delivery Network. Whether your application deals with hybrid events, online education, or security cameras, there are many possible applications for the multidirectional content delivery networks that Chris will describe for us.
About Chris:

A couple of years later he started Infrared5 in 2007 with his wife, Rebecca, and technical co-founder, Dominick, to respond to the demand for custom software built on Red5. In the last few years, the company has launched a proprietary version, Red5 Pro, that enables live realtime streaming capabilities at huge scale. Chris co-authored the book "The Essential Guide to Open Source Flash", and is a leader in the open source community. He regularly presents at startup, and technology and interactive conferences worldwide.
