Kubernetes may have now been around for the better part of a decade but the platform itself continues to evolve. Heading in 2023 it will be imperative for organizations that are now managing fleets of Kubernetes clusters to keep track of a wealth of functionality that is being added and, just as importantly, deprecated.
After all, the only thing more challenging than managing Kubernetes itself is managing multiple clusters running multiple versions of Kubernetes that are dependent on APIs that are no longer in use or not being regularly updated. The Kubernetes Roadmap provided by the Technical Oversight Committee provides some critical insights that IT organizations if they choose to ignore will be doing so at their own peril.
