Keynote Session 2: Dr Polly Haste

Polly Haste is Ofsted’s joint subject lead for PSHE, RSHE and Citizenship. She is a qualified teacher and holds a master’s degree in social research and a PhD in Sociology of Education.

Prior to working for Ofsted, she worked as a PSHE Curriculum Lead for a multi-academy trust and led the national training programme for a subject association. She has led and managed national school improvement programmes for PSHE education across key stages 1-5. Polly has extensive experience delivering teacher training in the maintained and independent sectors, including alternative provision, secure units and youth settings.
