Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects more than 50 million men in the U.S. It is especially common in men with prostate surgery, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. However, it is now possible to treat almost all men with ED! ED undermines a man’s sexual confidence – but successful treatment can help restore it! Many ED treatments are covered by most insurance and prescription plans. Attend a FREE Men’s Health event sponsored by Dr. Matthias Hofer with Urology San Antonio and Coloplast Corp. to educate men and their partners about approved ED treatment options.

Dr. Matthias Hofer
Urologist
Dr. Matthias Hofer is a board-certified urologist at Urology San Antonio’s Men's Health Clinic. He sees a variety of patients ranging from general urology concerns to reconstruction and trauma.
Dr. Hofer enjoys helping patients fix problems to their conditions with solutions and options they may not have known were even available.
“Urologic issues can impact so many facets of one’s life and being able to offer them solutions that can have such a positive impact on their quality of life is what I enjoy most.”
After completing his six-year residency in Urology at Northwestern University in Chicago, Dr. Hofer specialized further in one of the country’s top-ranked fellowships for Urologic Reconstruction, Trauma, and Prosthetics at UT Southwestern in Dallas. He also completed a three-year residency in Pathology at Harvard and earned a Ph.D.
“I always tell people that if they have an issue, don’t suffer in silence and wait until it starts to negatively impact your day-to-day life,” says Dr. Hofer. “I believe it’s always better to come for a visit and discuss options. These days as urologists we have many tools in our arsenal that can really help.”
