In joint collaboration, the Academy of Forensic Nursing (AFN) and Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) will host the inaugural Nurses Summit to Combat and Prevent Forced Organ Harvesting and share a unified vision to protect and promote ethical medical and nursing practices worldwide.

With the goal of advancing this mission and disseminating knowledge this virtual event will highlight the importance of the topic of the crime of forced organ harvesting to the international nursing community.

The Nurses Summit features nursing scholars, leaders, human rights experts and eye witnesses who are passionate about raising awareness about this problem, preventing collusion and to seeing it end.

Speakers will inform on topics central to nursing science, ethics and practice followed by a Q&A session. The 30 minute documentary, "Medical Genocide: Hidden Mass Murder in China’s Organ Transplant Industry," will be shown during the break.

CEU NOTICE: Continuing Education Contact hours will be awarded upon completion of the Nurses Summit on Combatting and Preventing Forced Organ Harvesting.

Criteria for Successful Completion: Participants may watch the video on the main website live on November 1, but must then register for and utilize the AFN learning management system via the link, complete the posttest with an 80% pass rate, complete the attestation statement, and successfully complete the evaluation.
