Freddie Mac’s ACE+ PDR takes effect July 17th. Join in to learn more about this GSE change with industry expert Joshua Walitt, an industry analyst and consultant to several AMCs and technology providers, and Eric Tsai, co-founder of Asteroom, the industry's first 3D tour company to provide a PDR solution with a network of 5000 real estate agents across the US.

Eric Tsai and Josh Walitt will be discussing the process for ACE + PDR, the various kinds of technology that’s being deployed on the field, and what the future for property data collection could look like. Eric Tsai will also be sharing his story for creating a 3D tour technology for real estate agents and his vision of recruiting them to be the data collectors for ACE + PDR that’s launching nationwide on August 10th.

We will also be inviting one of Asteroom’s current customers, Chris Go from Property Rate who will be sharing his experiences of using Asteroom’s network to collect property data for desktop appraisals.

Joshua Walitt

Joshua Walitt is the principal consultant for Walitt Solutions. He provides short- and long-term consulting services related to compliance, valuation, education, review, and investigations. Clients include lending institutions, appraisers, appraisal management companies, attorneys, education providers, and federal and state regulators. With over 20 years of experience, Walitt’s skillset includes appraisal, banking, regulations, policy, instruction, licensing, and enforcement. He writes for industry publications and speaks at events such as the Appraisal Institute’s Annual Conference, Appraisal Summit and Expo, Valuation Expo, Appraiser’s Conference, and Trade Show, Association of Appraiser Regulatory Officials, and other client and industry conferences.

Eric Tsai

Co-founder and CEO of Asteroom

Eric Tsai is the co-founder and CEO of Asteroom, the industry’s first and only 3D tour solution created for real estate agents to use with their smartphones. Prior to starting Asteroom, Eric was a Data Scientist for Meta Platforms (Facebook). In 2019, he left Facebook to found Asteroom after learning the needs of the real estate agents for an inexpensive, easy-to-use, and high-quality 3D tour creation platform. In the past 3 years while the US was going through the development of COVID 19, Eric and Asteroom have helped over 25,000 real estate agents create 3D tours and floor plans on their phones. Since the beginning of 2022, Eric has recruited over 5000 real estate agents who have been creating 3D tours and floor plans on Asteroom and are eager to participate in the newest ACE + PDR offering as data collectors. Asteroom’s partners include Realtor.com, Opteon, Appraisal Nation, Better Mortgage, and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
