Jahdi is a rapper, visual artist and community organizer who has lived in Portland nearly a decade now. Before becoming a full time organizer, Jahdi used to work in education doing equity work for black and brown youth for a few years. His activism work ignited at the beginning of the George Floyd uprising and has since then been one of Portland’s most important and outspoken voices in Portland’s activism community and BLM movement.
Robin Vada is a film director and multidisciplinary artist. Raised by an engineer, she developed a love for science early in life and brings this into her art whenever possible. In 2018 she co-founded Adventuress Films, a woman-owned production company on a quest for inclusive representation for on crew as well as on screen. She is currently polishing up the edit on Good Chemistry, a short film starring women and BIPOC in STEM.
