We’ll preview the developer tools and hardware/software kits that Intel is using to transform Industrial and Automation processes. We’ll begin with an overview of the Intel Developer Program and then move into the state of the art in industrial computer automation. We’ll cover how to boost your ROI by consolidating industrial processes on to fewer systems, virtualization of workloads and enabling real-time operating systems. During the second half of the first day, we’ll cover the IEEE extensions to the Ethernet protocol for Time Sensitive Networking and how serial protocols such as Modbus can be migrated to the newer OPC-UA standards. The second day will be dedicated to exploring the OpenVINO™ computer vision libraries and using the TICK stack for analyzing time-series data. It’s a very full two day workshop and this webinar will help jump start you on the material.
