Session 8: MESA Math Strategies 10/22 3PM

Luis Topete is the Program Director for the MESA College Prep Program in San Diego. He first became involved with the program as a student himself in 2004 and has been contributing to MESA’s mission since 2008. He began as an academic tutor and mentor to middle and high school students with the Imperial Valley MESA program. Luis continued his work with MESA in San Diego as an academic coordinator (2011) and then as Director (2015). He has continued to impact the lives of many students to this date through his involvement with MESA. Through implementing the best methods to better prepare students for college and the professional environments they are set to thrive in, his main goal is to guide students in creating their paths to success.
