David and Jeannine Janssen met at the Alliance Christian Fellowship; a Penn State campus ministry founded by the State College Alliance Church. David grew up in New York City and the New Jersey shore and found Christ at a summer job working at the Asbury Park boardwalk. Jeannine grew up in the Pittsburgh area and found Christ as a teen. David graduated with a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary and a D.Min from the Alliance Theological Seminary. In ministry, David and Jeannine have been youth pastors, campus pastors, church planters, overseas workers, and then for twenty-two years lead pastor at the State College Alliance Church. In 2012, David joined the Metro district staff as a Regional Team Leader. David currently serves as the Northeast Church Advance Consultant with the National Office. He is also on staff at Grace Fellowship Chapel in Bedminster, New Jersey, and Jeannine is a licensed NJ real estate agent. They have two adult daughters, Carolyn and Elizabeth. Looking at life, they understand that the key to renewal and Spirit-empowered ministry is prayer. David has set up a 24/7 prayer wheel for the Northeast region, trusting God for renewal, awakening, restoration, and transformation of the churches and region.
