After seeing friends and family struggle with life threatening illnesses, Ted has been a patient advocate for over 27 years, stemming for his early work in the former Washington state medical cannabis program. He brings extensive knowledge of medical cannabis applications in multiple realms, supporting a wide range of patient needs, from children to seniors.

Prior to joining Polite to lead Brand & Product Education, he has held positions from Budtending to Medical Director as well as former ownership in the previous medical cannabis industry. During his 8 years as part of management at Have A Heart, he founded WA state’s first donation program and built the largest medically endorsed staff from 2016-2018. Ted has also consulted many businesses outside WA as they transitioned into and from medically legal status.
