This three-hour webinar is designed for pastors, ministry leaders and Christians who want to grow in understanding how trauma affects a person’s involvement in the Church community. Participants will gain knowledge in the signs of traumatization, as well as practical ways to care for survivors of trauma, taking into consideration that churches should be caring for survivors but also have limits in the scope of care they can provide.

    Jason Kovacs, MA, CBC
    Jason is the executive director and counselor at Gospel Care Collective, an organization dedicated to offering biblical counseling, consulting and training to individuals and churches. Jason holds a Master of Arts degree in biblical counseling, and he is a certified member of the Association of Biblical Counselors.

    Eliza Huie, LCPC
    Eliza is a counselor, author, speaker and trainer. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and has advanced certificates in biblical counseling from Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Eliza is the director of counseling at McLean Bible Church in Washington, D.C. and has written several books and articles on the topic of Christian Counseling.

    Executive Director, Christian Trauma Healing Network
    Beth created CTHN with the vision for Christian leadership and mental health professionals to collaborate on the healing of trauma. She owns a private counseling practice in Denton, Texas specializing in trauma healing. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor (LPC-S) and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS-I).
