This presentation will explore the ways that gambling and gaming (video games) are increasingly overlapping and what this means for young people who engage in these activities. We will explore the motivations young people have to engage in gambling and gaming and the ways that they influence our brain chemistry, thoughts and behaviours. We will also look at why these activities can stop being fun and instead cause harm for some young people and their families.
