In this webinar we will be covering the setup of the Self Assessment module. This is Stage 4 of our onboarding as it involves setting up and managing your SA100, SA800, SA900 within the Self Assessment module. A main priority would be logging into your HMRC agent authorisation as this allows the accountant to get data directly from HMRC.

Within Self-Assessment we will investigate how to import data for your clients. Once this data is set, we will showcase the automations within the SA100, i.e. employment data, non-employment data, and syncs from SA800. You also have the ability to add supplementary forms, including the benefit of linking Sole Trader and Individual, which would be found in supplementary forms. Accountants can also link the SA800 to an individual through the addition of a supplementary form. A multitude of reports are also able to be viewed such as: SA302, Payments on Accounts, and Detail Schedule. The prevalidation status report is a feature that ensures the form has been filled out correctly and allows the accountant to submit directly to HMRC.

SA800 is fairly similar, apart from the accountant needing to select the partners for that return to distribute the shares between them.

You can link individuals to a sole trader

You can edit your report any time before you submit using the action dropdown menu

Can send out questionnaires to clients which makes gathering their data much easier.
