About
This lecture focuses on getting the most clinically useful information from the biochemical panel. Clues will be provided that will enable practitioners to quickly reach a diagnosis and/or determine the next steps in a patient workup. We will discuss diagnostic and treatment updates for selected conditions including endocrine diseases, proteinuric kidney disease, liver disease, and electrolyte disorders. The importance of trending values over time and treating the patient, not the numbers, will be discussed. Clinicians will gain appreciation for the wealth of information contained in routine biochemistries in patients of all ages.
Agenda
