In 2020, the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) announced its Specialized Services program. The underlying objective of the program is to connect community corrections agencies with subject matter experts to provide topical training, technical assistance and research. The program can help address areas agencies identify and collaborate locally, regionally or virtually to serve them at a reasonable price. The purpose of this webinar is to provide an overview of the program, including the initial slate of topics, steps to submit a request for services, and other general information.
