CONNECTED AIRLINE CASE STUDIES

A graduate of Aerospace Engineering (B.Sc and M.Sc in Aerospace Engineering) , Ankit Nanda is the Managing Director of Engineering and Reliability at Allegiant. During his 8 years at Allegiant he has worked in a variety of roles and introduced various new programs at the airline. One of his recent endeavors was to address the challenge of predictive aircraft maintenance, which led him into the world of connected aircraft. Allegiant currently utilizes the predictive maintenance platform of Skywise with a partnership with Airbus, which includes assisting in testing/assessing new predictive models and areas for improvement. This has resulted in his latest responsibility as the Data Security Manager for the aircraft due to the data connectivity capabilities. His background in programming along with his aerospace engineering put him in a unique position to work with the aircraft network security program for Allegiant which is currently being reviewed by the FAA.
