You’ve Got the Grades—Now Make Your Application Stand Out
Strong academics are a great start—but at top colleges, they’re just the beginning. Admissions officers want to understand the full picture: who you are, what drives you, and how you’ll contribute to their campus.
Strong academics are a great foundation—but at top colleges, they’re just the beginning. Admissions officers want to know who you are beyond the numbers: what drives you, how you spend your time, and how you’ll contribute to their campus community.
Join former Stanford University Admissions Officer, Amber Bisnauth, to learn how to elevate your application with a clear, cohesive story that goes beyond the numbers. Having good grades (or SAT scores or ACT scores) doesn't guarantee you admission - just like imperfect scores don't always disqualify you. To gain admission to top schools, you have to fill in details and paint a full picture of who you are as an applicant and as a person.
In this 60-minute webinar, we’ll cover how to:
-- Highlight your strengths and give meaningful context to your accomplishments
-- Connect your academic interests, extracurriculars, and personal experiences into a strong narrative
-- Use your essays and activities section to show depth, growth, and intentionality
-- Stand out through authenticity and smart storytelling—even at the most competitive schools
-- Start building a strong profile from your early high school years—with long-term impact in mind
Whether you’re a freshman just beginning your journey or a rising senior preparing to apply, this session will help you think strategically about how to stand out through authenticity, self-reflection, and smart storytelling.
You’ve got the grades—now it’s time to show colleges the full picture.

Amber Bisnauth
Former Admission Officer at Stanford University
Hi, everyone! My name is Amber, and I previously worked as an Undergraduate Admission Counselor at Stanford University. I have both a student-athlete and admission perspective of Stanford University, and graduated from Stanford with a major in International Relations and a minor in Spanish and Portuguese. While at Stanford, I was a Track & Field athlete. In the admission office, I reviewed applications from different parts of the country and the world, and I look forward to using my experience to encourage you along your own path to college admission soon!
