Arthur Caplan is a renowned professor and researcher of medical ethics, who is widely published and an expert on the topic of ethics in transplant medicine. Dr. Caplan is head of the Division of Bioethics at New York Univ. Langone Medical Center. He was former chair of the Dept. of Medical Ethics, and the Sidney D. Caplan Professor of Bioethics at the Univ of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

Debra Holbrook is a critical care Nurse and subject expert for the U.S. Departments of Justice and Defense on forensic nursing science. She founded the Forensic Nurse Examiner Program that became a model for the United States (US Senate, 2002). She has testified before Congress and the Senate Judicial Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs on behalf of the Bill that became the DNA Justice Act. A Fellow to the American Academy of Nursing, she is the recipient of numerous international awards and is acting Director of Forensic Nursing at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore which coordinates care to victims of interpersonal violence.
