Claudia Frese, born in 1971, has been Chief Executive Officer of STRATO AG and a member of the Executive Board of IONOS since September 2020. After receiving her degree in International Studies at the University of Cologne, Claudia Frese started her career with a variety of start-ups before holding a number of management positions at eBay GmbH. She then moved on to adviqo AG, where she was in charge of all online activities. Before STRATO, Frese was CEO of MyHammer AG and MyHammer Holding AG. Lise is Director General of ETNO, the Association representing Europe’s leading telecom operators, which she joined in 2016. She leads and oversees all the activities and she is the main external representative of the Association. Ralph Schirmeisen - Chief Technologist for Public Sector - HPE

Ralph Schirmeisen has spent 25 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) advising organizations in the private and public sectors on large scale digital transformation projects and deployment of cutting edge cloud and data solutions. During his tenure at HPE he has served in a number of roles including as a lead architect for the healthcare industry and Smart Cities and as a Big Data solution architect. As a Distinguished Technologist he is now focused on bringing in his expertise to improve hybrid cloud solutions with a multi-cloud and decentralized approach especially in the context of GAIA-X.

Svein Atle Hagaseth - Chief Sales Officer - Green Mountain

Svein has a 20+ year long sales, sales management and executive experience in the IT and Financial Services markets both in Norway, Europe and in North America working for companies like Telenor, CSC, Tieto, Lindorff and CGI before joining Green Mountain in 2016. Svein currently run a global sales organization with offices in Canada, Spain, UK and Norway, positioning Norway and Green Mountain’s green and energy efficient data center services. Svein and his family currently reside in Toronto, Canada.

Dr Deborah Andrews - Associate Professor - London South Bank University

Deborah has 20+ years expertise in sustainable design and manufacture and is proud to be a Chartered Environmentalist. In addition to teaching on under and post-graduate students on design and engineering courses, Deborah carries out enterprise and consultancy work for external clients. She is also actively involved in research and supervises industry and EPSRC-funded PhD projects with particular emphasis on design for sustainability, Life Cycle Assessment and the Circular Economy.

Chris Bridgland - Senior Director, Solutions Engineering EMEA, Couchbase

Chris heads up Couchbase’s Solutions Engineering teams and Services business in EMEA. His primary goals are to ensure that customers get the most value from investing in Couchbase’s NoSQL technology, to help deliver ever-richer and ever more personalised customer and employee experiences, and to think beyond business as usual. Prior to joining Couchbase, Chris spent 4 years at Veritas and 14 years at EMC and RSA Security (now Dell EMC) in various Presales, Consulting and Management roles to bring new solutions to address continuous changes in how businesses need to operate.

Erik Ekudden

Group CTO, Senior Vice President and Head of Technology & Strategy - Ericsson

As Group CTO and head of Technology and Strategy, Erik Ekudden is responsible for
setting the overall strategy and direction of technology leadership for Ericsson. In 2017
he re-located to Kista, Sweden, after nearly seven-years in Santa Clara, California.
His focus for the group is on strategic decisions and investments in mobility, cloud,
artificial intelligence and Internet of things. This builds on his decades-long career in
technology strategies and industry activities with leading customers and partners from
2G to 5G and beyond. Ekudden first joined Ericsson in 1993 working on mobile systems,
but rapidly moved into leadership within research and technology. He has served as
research area director and vice president of technology strategy, standardization and
industry.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Institute of
Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of
Engineering Sciences (IVA).

Carlo D'Asaro Biondo - CEO - Noovle (A Telecom Italia Company)

Born in Rome in 1965, Carlo d’Asaro Biondo has dual French and Italian nationality. He's started his career as a consultant in 1988initially in Rome to progressively grow as a management consultant to become President and CEO of KPMG consulting in France starting 1999. He then served in C level positions in leading It and Content companies (UNISYS Vice President and Managing Director EMEA Telecommunications and Media President and CEO of AOL France and later of AOL Europe, CEO of International Operations for Lagardère Active Media). 2009 to 2020 he served at Google: From 2009 up to the beginning of 2015 President Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa Operations; 2015 to 2020 he was President EMEA in charge of partnerships and strategies and institutional relationship management. Carlo joined TIM in April 2020 as Leader of the Cloud Project that brought to the creation of Noovle S.p.A. of which is currently CEO, he also oversees partnerships for TIM group.

Antonietta Mastroianni - Chief Digital & IT Officer - Proximus

Antonietta Mastroianni, citizenship Italian, has been a member of Proximus Exco since April 2021. Before joining Proximus, she was Group CIO and CDIO at the Danish TDC, Head of IT and Business Partner at Swiss Sunrise, she had several roles in Swisscom and H3G Italy. She is an influential IT leader with 20 years of international Telecom experience in leveraging technology to drive organizational growth, performance and profitability. She focuses on digital and agile transformation, the impact of leading-edge technology on business, technology and product innovation as well as IT and Telco transformation. She has worked in different European countries (Italy, Switzerland, Denmark and Belgium) and has been a member of the Management board and a council member of Etis. Antonietta Mastroianni studied Computer and Automation Engineering at university of Siena and she is a member of the National Council Italian Engineers.

Stéphane Demartis - Vice President - Orange Labs Networks, Cloud Infrastructure Solutions & Services

Stéphane Demartis is leading the build of Telco cloud solutions within Orange, and Vice President of Orange Labs Networks. He has a wealth of experience spanning 17+ years in Cloud Services, Telco and digital transformation.

Stephane Demartis leads the convergence and standardization of Telco cloud solutions for all Orange Countries with other operators and VNF vendors.

Before, Stephane lead the Engineering of Orange cloud services, defining the Orange cloud offers for B2B market and deliver them to our customers. He began his career as an operation manager in a start-up in the domain of wan & telephony. Very used to heterogeneous environments and thanks to his technical skills, he developed the ability to identify specific areas of the market where to develop business.

His background in sales and his leadership drove him to play a key role in the strategic and technologic orientations of Orange.

Dr. Béla Waldhauser - CEO - Telehouse Germany - KDDI Germany

Dr. Béla Waldhauser is the Chief Executive Officer of Telehouse Deutschland GmbH since
2012 and the head of the integrated operational business of KDDI and Telehouse in
Germany since April 2014.
Between 2007-2012 he was the Managing Director of Global Switch in Germany. Prior to this
he held the same position at TeleCity where he was responsible for TeleCity’s German
operations for four years. Before assuming this position he had been the Managing Director
of Teleglobe and responsible for their activities in Germany and Austria.
Dr. Waldhauser earned a degree in theoretical physics and began his professional career at
Telenorma/Bosch Telecom, where he has started as a trainee and later worked as an
Executive Assistant. Following these early years he went on to GTS-Westcom and later to
First Telecom as their Sales and Marketing Director.
Since many years Dr. Waldhauser is orchestrating the “Competence Group Data Centre &
Infrastructure” at the eco e. V. In this position he is also leading the related working group.
Furthermore he is a part of the jury team for “Deutscher Rechenzentrumspreis” since 2011.
The price is awarded in conjunction with the yearly “Future Thinking” congress.
In July 2014 the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) appointed Dr.
Waldhauser in his position as an industry expert and member of the eco e.V. – guiding the
organisation’s expert task force for data centres. For the BMBF he is involved in the
development of the new strategy platform “IKT in H2020”.Dr. Béla Waldhauser is appointed as the spokesman for the Alliance to Strengthen the Digital
Infrastructure in German since February 2018. The Alliance was founded by firms active in
the digital infrastructure sector in Germany. In this position Dr. Waldhauser actively
communicates his personal conviction regarding the relevance of digital infrastructure and its
key role in securing Germany’s future economic capabilities. In addition, he is also active as
a co-creator and speaker within the Alliance to ensure that the importance of
“digital sovereignty” is recognized at the political level and in the German economy.
Dr. Béla Waldhauser is a member of the Dreieich Lions Club.

Christine Wenzel - Head of Corporate Affairs - Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Christine Wenzel joined HPE 5 years ago as Head of Corporate Affairs for DACH and Head of the HPE Berlin office. She has driven strategic outreach campaigns with political stakeholders and orchestrated HPE expert and executive positioning to advance HPE business and to increase the company reputation. Christine is also a public sector business developer and has worked on the GAIA-X initiative since 1.5 years when it was initially founded. Prior to joining HPE, Christine has worked in the Federal German Ministry for Economics and the Foreign Office, for SAP and the European Commission in Brussels, as well as for the United Nations in New York on ICT policy.
