Before moving to the Bundesbank, Wuermeling had been Chairman of the Board of the Association of Sparda Banks since 2011. Before that, he was a member of the general management of the German Insurance Association for around three years.

Dr. Philipp Nimmermann

Staatssekretär, Hessisches Ministerium für Wirtschaft

Dr. Philipp Nimmermann is a German economist and since January 2019 State Secretary in the Hessian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport and Housing. Before that, he had been State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance of the State of Schleswig-Holstein since October 2014. Philipp Nimmermann is a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

Prof. Dr. Martin Hellmich

Guido Falkenberg

Senior Vice President Product Management, Software AG

Guido Falkenberg is Senior Vice President of Product Management at Software AG. He has been with Software AG for more than 25 years and has vast experience with mainframe modernization, integration and big data. Guido worked in R&D, as IT enterprise architect and in the office of the CTO. Guido also serves as board member of the Bitkom working group Big Data and as Deputy Chairman of Software AG’s Supervisory Board.

Justyna Lebedyk

Senior Product Owner, COMMERZBANK

After studying business administration and business informatics in Frankfurt, Justyna Lebedyk joined Commerzbank in 2004 in the Quantification & Infrastructure team at Counterparty Risk. In 2010, she changed to Market & Liquidity Risk Modelling. Since the beginning of 2019, she has been a Senior Product Owner at BDAA and also responsible for requirements management.

Oliver Doerler

Global Head of Big Data, COMMERZBANK

Oliver Dörler started his career in an international trainee-programme at Deutsche Bank AG before going into management consulting. At Deloitte, he managed several Big Data & Advanced Analytics programmes of major organisations in the financial sector. Today, Oliver Dörler is responsible for the Big Data division at Commerzbank.

Ian Macdonald

Principal Technologist, Pyramid Analytics

Ian has been active in the Analytics and BI space for more than 30 years in senior technical and marketing roles with large software vendors, system integrators and BI specialist consulting houses. His role with Pyramid Analytics includes introducing products to new markets, evangelising products and enabling new customers.

Zornitsa Manolova

Head of Data Quality Management & Data Science, GLEIF

Zornitsa Manolova is leading the Data Quality Management and Data Science team at the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) since April 2018. She is responsible for enhancing and improving the established Data Quality and Data Governance framework by introducing innovative data analytics approaches. Prior to GLEIF, Zornitsa was managing forensic data analytics projects on international financial investigations with PwC Forensics. She studied at the Philipps University in Marburg and holds a German Diploma in Computer Sciences with focus on Machine Learning.

José Murillo established and leads the Analytics Business Unit at Banorte –the second largest financial group in Mexico. The value created with analytics during his tenure exceeds 4 billion USD. This case was published at Harvard Business Review and Forbes as an example of a company which made its analytics investments pay-off.
