Tony joined Sunbelt Rentals in 2022, bringing with him a decade of experience in various roles within the load bank rental market. As Vice President of Load Banks, he oversees one of the company's specialized divisions, responsible for delivering world-class solutions through the industry's largest and most diverse fleet of load bank rental equipment. With over 20 years in the finance and energy industries, Tony brings a unique perspective to resolving customer challenges and ensuring successful experiences.

He resides in Ashburn, Virginia.

Edward Huffman
National Sales Manager — Load Banks
Edward joined the specialty rental business in 2000 and has spent 14 years in temperature control. Now National Sales Manager for Load Banks at Sunbelt Rentals, he leads a critical component of the company's Power & HVAC division. Known for his expertise in load testing solutions, Edward has supported clients both in the U.S. and internationally, assisting with commissioning processes for the maritime industry, higher education facilities, U.S. Government projects, and critical power infrastructure. Edward believes in the importance of hands-on customer support and enjoys visiting project sites to work directly with clients.

Shane Erdmann
Senior Project Manager – Load Banks
With 30 years of expertise in the electrical power generation and testing industry, Shane joined ComRent International a decade ago as a project manager. After ComRent was acquired by Sunbelt Rentals two years ago, he stepped into the role of Senior Project Manager in the load banks specialty division. In this capacity, Shane has successfully led numerous high-profile projects, including a remarkable 180MW load bank test at an island power facility, alongside multiple tests at 70MW, 50MW, 30MW, and 20MW, as well as hundreds of tests under 10MW. His experience spans various vertical markets, where he finds satisfaction in solving complex problems and delivering projects on time and within budget.

He is a lifelong resident of Colorado.

Jared Poweski
Strategic Customer Representative - Load Banks
Joining the Sunbelt Rentals team in 2022, Jared Poweski has 17 years of sales experience in the industrial sector. In those 17 years, clients have relied on Jared’s expertise for critical power projects including 180MW testing, 35MW turbine testing, and various offshore jobs. Jared’s dedication to connecting his clients with the best testing solutions for their specific needs has enabled countless projects to reach completion on time and on budget over the years.

He is based in Houston, Texas.

Aaron Larson
Executive Editor, POWER magazine
Aaron Larson joined the POWER team in September 2013 as an associate editor and was named executive editor in 2017. Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology and a master’s degree, specializing in finance. He spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, advancing to Chief Petty Officer. He has worked at commercial nuclear, biomass, and coal-fired power plants, functioning in operations, maintenance, safety, financial, and management capacities. Aaron holds a Chief A Engineer boiler operator license in the state of Minnesota.
