Welcome to our last day of our 40-hour Domestic & Sexual Violence Certification course! Congratulations on all of your hard work and dedication to this important work. Soon we will be able to officially welcome you to the ranks of certified domestic and sexual violence advocates operating in Connecticut. Our out of state friends will be receiving a certificate of completion (upon the successful submission of all outstanding assignments and completion of hours!). We hope that this begins a long and meaningful relationship with this work and with The Center for Family Justice. We will be starting on Big Marker to begin our day and ending on Zoom to process what we've learned.
The Center for Family Justice (CFJ) provides free and confidential trauma-informed services and coordinates care for all victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse in six towns in Fairfield County, Connecticut: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull.
CFJ provides expert prevention education and training in our communities to create social change. Our goal is to break the cycle of violence by building healthy relationships, empowering communities, and mobilizing bystanders to speak out about abuse and violence.
