    Ben Wiper
Founder and CEO, CF Waste Recovery
Ben has owned and operated consulting, technology, and manufacturing businesses in seafood and food sectors for nearly 20 years.

He brings a strategic mind and financial skill set to the company and an academic background in economics, finance and philosophy from the University of Waterloo. After living in Nova Scotia for a decade, Ben moved to Newfoundland, landing in a small town of 240 people called Main Brook. He got involved in local politics as a town councillor, met his wife Hailee, and they recently had their first child, Hudson.

Living in and exploring Newfoundland revealed the tremendous waste-to-value opportunities in such a natural resource-rich province. Inspired, Ben founded 3F Waste Recovery and refined its focus towards pet and human health marine ingredients, like collagen, calcium and proteins, from seafood by-products.
