Tariq Ahmad

Director – Global Sales, BrowserStack

In his career, Tariq has built, grown, and transformed people, businesses, and markets. Whether its a SaaS offering or a complex service line, he has taken businesses from build to growth to transformation.

Currently, as Director - Global Sales, Tariq will be accelerating revenue growth for BrowserStack across all global markets through new customer acquisition. The role is responsible for global sales to ensure customers find it easy to decide and buy the right BrowserStack solution to ship apps and websites that work for everyone, every time.

Previously Tariq was the Country Manager for Business Resiliency and Hybrid Cloud Services at IBM India and South Asia where he was responsible for signings, revenue, offering management, alliance and partner strategy, sales GTM and sales enablement for the service lines. Prior to IBM, Tariq was at LinkedIn India building its regional sales team. He has also had technology consulting stints at Cisco and Safenet.

Tariq has a Master in Business Administration from S.P. Jain School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from Mumbai University. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Law from the National University of Juridical Sciences and Professional Certificates from ISB and Cornell University.

In addition to being a Marshall Goldsmith Executive Coach, he is a regular guest speaker and visiting faculty for Sales Management at B-Schools.

Paola Bielli

Professor Information Systems | SDA Bocconi

Professor at Bocconi University (Milan) , SDA Bocconi Business School, and SDA Bocconi Asia Center (Mumbai), Certified Chartered Accountant.

After graduating from Bocconi (with core in Finance & Control), Paola worked at Osram (part of Siemens, the German multinational group).

She was later recruited by Bocconi University and joined the Information Systems Department of the business school, where she used her project management background to lead several large multi annual EU projects both in Europe and other developing countries (e.g. Kazkhstan, Syria).

Over the past 20 years she has been visiting researcher at several European (e.g. RSM Rotterdam) and international (e.g. IIM Bangalore) universities.

In addition to the academic role, she collaborates with consulting companies in the design and implementation of Information Systems projects.

Current research interests: CSR practices in MNC, internationalization strategies in developing countries, women in ICT, ICT-based innovation in various industries (e.g. healthcare) or companies (Ee.g. SMEs), high-tech startups.
