After graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in business studies, Nick joined Taylor Patterson, which was subsequently acquired by Mattioli Woods in January 2011.

Nick has an in-depth knowledge of employee benefits, including pensions, group risk, healthcare, and online benefit arrangements. Nick is also responsible for coordinating Mattioli Woods’ role within the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) and recently completed his two-year tenure as the chair of the WBN Catalyst group, which aims to develop the next generation of leaders within the WBN member firms. Nick has been working with international clients for the last six years.

He is a qualified Chartered Financial Planner.

Outside of work, Nick is a keen follower of sports, with football and cricket his favourites to watch, although he does more running than playing team sports these days. Nick is also a proud dad of two girls and enjoys days out with the family at the weekend.

Jennifer is a Partner with considerable experience and expertise, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious work, spanning the lifetime of the employment relationship. With extensive advocacy experience in the employment tribunal, Jennifer has developed a strong reputation as a litigator and tactician.

The publication has described Jennifer as "very thorough and totally committed to her clients" and as a "name to note".Jennifer has particular expertise in the recruitment sector, as well as professional services industry and hospitality, retail and tech sectors. Clients recognise Jennifer's excellent legal skillset and commitment to them and consistently return to her for advice. Jennifer's personal approach, commercial awareness and excellent client care skills were recognised when she won the North West Business Insider Lawyer of the Year.

As well as being a Partner at Forbes, Jennifer is a Trustee of the Forbes Foundation charity and is a director of Pro-Manchester, the largest business development organisation in the North West.
