Tyler Duff
Technical Sales Representative; Hapman
Tyler Duff began his journey with Hapman in 2015 as a Field Service Technician, traveling across the country to install, commission, and maintain Hapman conveyors. His hands-on experience in the field gave him a deep understanding of Hapman’s equipment and the critical role it plays in customer operations. From there, Tyler transitioned into an in-house Technical Support role, where he assisted customers remotely with the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of their equipment. His expertise and leadership led him to the role of Technical Supervisor in 2020, overseeing a team of technical support professionals. By 2022, Tyler had taken on the position of Technical Development Coordinator, collaborating with service, engineering, and sales teams to create innovative equipment manuals, 3D instructional videos, and updated training programs for service technicians. These days, Tyler serves as Hapman’s Tubular Drag Product Manager. In this role, he leverages nearly a decade of equipment knowledge and application experience to provide expert guidance and solutions to customers. Tyler is passionate about utilizing his background to ensure Hapman’s customers receive the highest level of support and product excellence.

Scott Jenkins
Senior Editor, Chemical Engineering Magazine
Scott Jenkins has been an editor at Chemical Engineering since 2009. Prior to joining CE, Scott worked in various capacities as a science journalist and communications specialist, reporting and writing on a variety of sectors, including chemical processing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing and research policy. He also has industry experience as a quality assurance chemist and research experience as a synthetic organic chemist. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, and a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
