Dr. Jitin Chadha

Director, Indian Institute of Art & Design, New Delhi

Dr. Chadha is an educational entrepreneur with a vision to redefine higher education and make world-class education accessible to students in the Indian subcontinent. He is the founder Director of the Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF), which offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in the field of Economics, Finance and Management in collaboration with the University of London and the London School of Economics. Based on years of robust research and industry-needs analysis, in 2014 he also established the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) in collaboration with the Kingston School of Art, Kingston University (KU), London, which has been recently ranked as the No. 1 Design School in UK.
Dr. Chadha is a PhD in Finance from Delhi University and hold a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from Warwick University.

Prof. Usha Nehru Patel

Dean – Academics, Indian Institute of Art & Design, New Delhi

Armed with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and Graphics, Professor Usha Nehru Patel received a Certificate in Higher Education in the U.K. and a degree in Fashion and Styling from the Netherlands. Usha’s diverse experience in fashion and textiles has led her to teach and conceive art and design curricula at multiple institutes in India.
Among other laudable achievements, Usha has led a challenging international project titled ‘Sustainability and Equitable Development: Interventions in India’s Rural Craft Industry’. Through this effort, she came into partnerships with Northumbria University in the U.K. and Dastkar, an Indian craft NGO. Usha has also headed the prestigious Delhi Metro Uniform Design project, designing all its eighteen categories of uniforms. She was additionally invited by the Ministry of Oceanography, New Delhi, to conceive and visualize an exhibition on this subject at the capital’s India International Centre.

Prof. Prachi Mittal

Course Leader, Foundation, Indian Institute of Art & Design, New Delhi

A firm believer in the potential of Design and Creativity education, Prachi has been commissioned to institutionalize design as a business strategy in various industry set-ups. An Accessory Design graduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology, her 20 years of industry experience spans across product design, social design and publication design.

Dr. Sunita Konwar

Course Leader, Fashion Business Management, Indian Institute of Art & Design, New Delhi

A seasoned academician with over 30 years of experience in teaching, Sunita has pioneered educational programmes addressing the niche needs of Fashion Business, across institutions. She holds a Doctorate in Economics from Mumbai University. She completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) from NTU – UK, and was awarded a distinction.
