Meme Me: The Student's Concept of Self in a Digital World

About This Webinar

The Pope, world leaders, and our students post selfies daily. Selfie was the word of the year for 2013. Selfies and avatars are ways our students humanize their digital learning experience. These are ways students define themselves online and it impacts their overall concept of self. Join Shelly Sanchez Terrell for an active session where we learn how to help our students reflect on their digital behavior, communication and choices. We will also explore engaging activities to get students reading, writing and communicating in English. And of course, we will take some selfies!

Agenda
  • We will explore digital learning and culture
  • We will explore digital citizenship with avatars.
  • We will analyze the significance of selfies to our learners.
