Valerie Harris, D.M.A. is a concert organist, educator, and church musician who blends musical excellence with a deep passion for inspiring others. She has performed across the U.S. and Europe, most recently in Vienna, Austria. Valerie also gives frequent lectures, having presented at the University of Vienna, the University of Graz, and the National American Guild of Organists convention in 2024. Her recital performances showcase a diverse repertoire ranging from early to contemporary styles, and she regularly performs on the historic Aeolian-Skinner organ at the Tabernacle on Temple Square and the 1859 Robjohn organ at the Musical Instrument Museum in Scottsdale.

She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance from Arizona State University, where she studied with Kimberly Marshall, along with a Master of Music in Organ Performance and a Graduate Certificate in Church Music from Shenandoah Conservatory. She earned her Bachelor of Music from Brigham Young University and has pursued post-graduate studies in historical organ performance with prominent European artists.

As Dean of the Central Arizona Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and a national board member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, Valerie is a leader in the organist community. She also serves as Associate Music Director and Organist at First United Methodist Church of Mesa, Arizona. Her teaching has inspired hundreds of students, many of whom have pursued further musical education and careers. Valerie remains committed to the vision of spiritually enriching and well-prepared music in worship settings.
