Morgan Burke

Burke is the lead urology nurse practitioner at The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital. She joined the practice in 2017, having previously served at Vanderbilt Urology in Nashville, Tenn. Morgan teamed up with colleague Jeffrey Nix, MD, to start a telehealth program for UAB Urology. She specializes in restoring urologic health in men suffering from complications following cancer treatment or due to aging. She cares for patients with erectile dysfunction, genitourinary stricture disease, urinary incontinence, neurogenic bladder, and Peyronie’s disease. She helps ensure that men undergoing surgery have completed the necessary preoperative testing, and she provides postoperative care to men following reconstructive and prosthetic surgery. Burke was the first nurse practitioner in Alabama to be certified to perform injections for Peyronie’s disease.
She enjoys hiking, Kentucky Wildcats basketball, and spending time with her husband, an orthopedic surgery resident at UAB.
