Dr. Nathan Green
Urologist
Urologist Nathan Green, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. He was a recipient of the Barton Foundation Award and the Medical Alumni Scholarship. He completed a residency in Urology and an internship in General Surgery, both at UAMS.
Dr. Green is a board eligible member of the physician team at Jefferson Regional Urology Associates in Pine Bluff and the Jefferson Regional Medical Staff.
As a child, Dr. Green wanted to be a CSI (Crime Scene Investigator). This was based around his fascination with solving puzzles and uncovering hidden truths. This eventually transitioned into his journey as a physician. Guided by similar principles of meticulous analysis, collaborative teamwork and a commitment to problem solving, his childhood dream laid the foundation for a career in medicine.
When asked why he chose to practice medicine in Southeast Arkansas, Dr. Green stated that “Having grown up in a small town in Arkansas, I recognize the resemblances between my hometown and the Pine Bluff community. My desire to serve within a close-knit population and address the distinct healthcare intricacies they encounter, has guided my journey to practice medicine in Southeast Arkansas.”
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Green can be found spending quality time with his family, exploring the world by visiting new cities and countries with his wife, Shelby, hiking outdoors, testing new recipes and enjoying ice cream!
