Mark R. Fernandez, Ph.D
Principal Investigator for Spaceborne Computer-2
Mark R. Fernandez, Ph.D is the Principal Investigator for Spaceborne Computer-2 for HPE having joined the team back in 2014. Mark and his family are Hurricane Katrina evacuees and now reside in South Carolina. He received his PhD from the University of Southern Mississippi and interestingly still has his rejection letter from the NASA Astronaut Program.
Paul Whiten
DevOps Business Development Manager - APAC, Red Hat
Paul is responsible for driving the adoption of Red Hat’s Managed Services offerings across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. He focuses on the go to market strategy, product-market fit and joint execution between Red Hat and our greater partner ecosystem to help customers focus on delivering better, more innovative applications.
Paul has over 15 years experience in the technology industry with the last 8 years working in regional business development roles - with HP, HPE and then Micro Focus and now Red Hat - helping enterprise customers improve the way they deliver software - from quality assurance, to lifecycle management through to implementing Agile and DevOps capabilities. Previous to this, he worked in various roles from consulting to presales helping customers implement best practices around application delivery.
Paul has a degree in Software Engineering (Honours) as well as Business Management from the University of Queensland, Australia. In his free time he is a hobbyist mobile app developer.
Marlon is responsible for designing and Architecting IT Platforms, driving thought leadership with HPE, Red Hat and Microsoft Technology and concepts across the Australia and New Zealand. Marlon is also focused in supporting the HPE Channel market as both Strategic and Architectural role to increase mind share, and HPE footprint.
Marlon has over 25 years’ experience in the technology industry where 9 years he had spent as a Server Architect, Enterprise Architect within the telco Industry, and a Channel Architect for HPE. He is also the Red Hat and Microsoft Champion for HPE.
Marlon has a degree in Computer Systems Engineering and is an avid Linux user and passion in automation and analytics.
