Mr. Poulovassilis joined Lloyd’s Register of Shipping in 1989 and had a distinguished 25-year career with the leading Classification Society, holding the post of Regional Manager, Europe, Middle East & Africa from 2009 until 2015. For the past five years, he has held leading positions for Ship Management and Operating companies and is also currently active in a number of non-executive roles in the Maritime Industry. He holds a BEng and MSc from Imperial College and University College London respectively.

Dr. Lars Greitsch started his professional career after the A-level with an apprenticeship as a car technician. After that he studied mechanical engineering and naval architecture at the University of Rostock finishing with the degree ‘Diplom Ingenieur’ in 2005. Up to 2009 he worked at the Institute of Ship Design and Ship Safety as a researcher and wrote his dissertation on the topic ‘Development of a design tool for ship rudders based on statistical operational data’.
Following his academic career he moved do MMG in the first place as propeller designer, later as Head of Research & Innovation and since the beginning of 2017 as Managing Director. His main topic in his work was the development of the MMG-redesign program, where up to now 320 retrofit propellers were designed and produced based on the evaluation of operational data.

Asbjørn Halsebakke, Manager, Technical Solutions, Marine at Yaskawa Environmental Energy / The Switch Norway, is leading his team in engineering marine drive solutions, frequency converters and rotating machinery, which are in use today with the utmost reliability on vessels throughout the world. Before joining Yaskawa Environmental Energy (formerly Wärtsilä Norway AS Drives division), Halsebakke worked for Aker Kværner Elektro AS in Norway to develop frequency drives and perform sea trials and commissioning. Halsebakke graduated from Narvik University College with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. He also attended the University of Bergen, where he studied elementary physics and mathematics.

With more than 25 years of management experience, he has held several leadership positions in Sales, Business Development, Services and Marketing, in the ICT sector, both in Greece and abroad. He has served as Director of Public Sector Sales and Director of Technology at Microsoft Hellas, where he worked for eight years and, more recently, he was the CEO of Propulsion Analytics for more than 4 years, where he was also the Co-Founder. He holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, Boston, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London.

Suraj came ashore in 2010 and since then he has been closely involved with Technical supervision of the Ardmore ships under Thome ship management. He brings to us a strong experience in fleet management, dry docking, personnel management and has run internal projects for Thome's accounting and purchase functions. Suraj has spent 12 years at sea rising to the rank of Chief Engineer .His time served on board includes bulk carriers, tankers, general cargo, container and DP Offshore vessels
