Elatia Abate is an entrepreneur, coach and speaker who works with businesses and individuals to uncover and unleash extraordinary potential.

She partners with executives at established organizations to unlock opportunities for revenue growth and improved team dynamics. She works with entrepreneurs to channel their enthusiasm into action that truly grows their businesses. She teaches people to take charge of their own professional lives and craft careers that don’t feel like work. In short, she helps people see where they are getting in the way of their own success and helps navigate the path to achievement.

Her unique approach combines unbridled enthusiasm with years of coaching, innovation and recruiting experience to show her clients that they are capable of accomplishing far more than their current horizons envisage.

Prior to founding her practice, Ms. Abate was Vice President of HR Projects and Director of Recruitment for Dow Jones & Company. She served as Global Director Talent Acquisition at Anheuser-Busch InBev. She is a design thinking enthusiast, as well as a lover of improv comedy and storytelling.

Ms. Abate graduated with Honors in Political Science from The University of Chicago and received her MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

My name is Arminda and I love being happy from the inside out. 

I am passionate about many things like swing dancing, drinking my veggies, pit bulls, smiling, writing, looking people in the eye, and just about anything red. I am definitely unfinished and know you are, too. 

In my work, I'm a lot like an athletic coach as I listen, observe, give feedback and create an environment where the most committed players will always achieve the goals they choose to pursue. 

While I do draw on my years of corporate training in the work I do now with my clients, mostly my work as a single mom of seventeen years informs my coaching conversations! There's nothing like life up close and personal to teach us about the choices we make every single day and their impact on what works and what doesn't.

I am a champion listener, a dynamic speaker, and a coach who enjoys working with a wide variety of individuals and corporations.

I ask tough questions, challenge clients' existing frameworks, suggest new ways to think about thinking and remind anyone who will listen of all that is possible, even if it means slaying a sacred cow or two.
