*Disclaimer: Home growing of cannabis for personal or medical use remains illegal in certain states. Please check your local state laws for what is permitted.

For example, in Washington, it is illegal to grow for personal use, but qualifying medical cannabis patients who are registered into the state's voluntary Medical Marijuana Authorization Database are permitted to grow up to six plants, and non-registered patients can grow up to four plants (visit doh.wa.gov to learn more).

In Arizona, any adult over 21 can grow a maximum of 6 plants per individual.

In all legal states, permitted home grows must still abide by specific rules around enclosed environments inaccessible to children and public view, purchasing seeds, transporting and discarding of plant materials.
