About
Digitalisation is removing the barriers to the goods and services that support society across all geographies. But the businesses at the front-end of the process – the sellers and merchants – still face financial exclusion as they are unable to access payment solutions that make it easy for them to serve different geographies and accept different currencies. The root cause is that the financial institutions that underpin the e-commerce marketplace continue to struggle to tackle some of the inherent issues around international payments, from the cost and speed of cross-border payments to the threat of de-risking.

This webinar will examine insights provided by recent market research into insight on merchants’ current expectations of their payments partners, and how payments businesses are taking a new approach to deliver solutions that are fit for purpose.
Agenda
  • Merchants’ current payments expectations: what is keeping them awake at night? Is it fragmented payments and regulatory landscapes, the cost of FX across Europe, access to instant pay-outs or something else entirely?
  • Shifting the dial – how payments providers are adjusting their operating models to overcome the barriers to low cost, fast international payments, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Collaboration – the role of collaboration with payments infrastructure providers to improve the experience and accessibility for all participants.
